The owner Jen is a Portland state university graduate, and has a heart for God as well as his people. By word of mouth, she became known as the cheesecake lady and the idea of opening up a brick-and-mortar shop with gourmet Cheesecakes to Ship started to come to reality for her on a whim when she found the space downtown Silverton, and inquired about it shortly after, so I need a Kickstarter company that would prove to change the entire community and even affect the nation across multiple states nationwide.While Jen went to school to be a social worker. She had different plans than expected as God had a different plan for her beloved company. Do you have a passion for people with barriers. She loves giving people with special needs and trauma survivors opportunities with jobs and loves participating opportunities to help support fundraisers and impact her community.
Jen got invited to tell her story at the Silverton area, community aid, as ACA in July 2019 in which you don’t need one of her gourmet cakes with gourmet Cheesecakes to Ship. The audience was impressed with her cake and generosity, and incredibly touched by her story of how God brought her this far along in her business, and blessed her to become a blessing to the community. The cake was put for auction at the fundraiser successfully making its way to the highest bidder for $850 which went to the CA organization. A gentleman at the photos of us was in touch and inspired by Jen and her story and impacted it by her mission that he generated an extra $1000 US ACA organization.
We’re still organizing and also had a fundraiser that we participated in and helped raise funds for GOP candidates in Oregon in April 2022. And runners in the chairs all the caramel cake for the auction which has proven to be a crowd pleaser and has successfully impressed the people at the auction, by selling the cake this time around for $906 which brought tears and appreciation for the popular donation, and an incredibly loud round of applause.
